Before returning home to Reno, Nevada, Johnna explored many aspects of creativity, including studying music and the recording arts to post-production sound editing on major feature films in Hollywood. Today she is embracing decades of people asking her to help out with their logo, websites and creative projects by finally getting the foundation needed to truly understand the world of graphic design.

After diving into YouTube and quickly realizing she'd need more help, Johnna enrolled in night classes at Truckee Meadows Community College and quickly realized she should have been studying graphic design all along. It's never to late to do what you love and thanks to the support of her friends and family she's finally doing it!

People caught wind of Johnna's career goals and sought out her expertise even before she graduated. Day Moth Creative was born to help small businesses and organizations tell their stories in creative ways.

Cursed with too many ideas, Johnna grounds herself by getting outdoors, torturing herself with long runs and crazy open water swims, and from time to time you'll hear her playing the drums. As a fourth-generation Reno, Nevadan, Johnna has a lot of history in the Reno/Tahoe area and loves being a part of its incredibly creative community.​
